Signed Ian Anderson Flute on eBay

The Tull frontman has donated one of his prize flutes to B.A.D.D (Bikers Against Drunk Driving) and there's still time to bid to make it your own. The current high bid is over $1000 so you'll have to really love Tull to take this baby home. Of course it's for a very good cause so hopefully the final bid will be even higher.

New at Jethro Tull Press

The always amazing Jethro Tull Press site (home to countless vintage photos and press clippings related to all things Tull) has a few nice new additions up including a bunch of new photos and a pair of Melody Maker articles.

Excerpt from a fairly awful review of Heavy Horses in the Melody Maker of 15 April 1978...

BEASTLY TULL
Jethro Tull: Heavy Horses (Chrysalis CHR 1175)

A long-time fan of Jethro Tull, I have recently become concerned by Ian Anderson's gradual decline. I'm painfully forced to compare Tull to an ageing dog: lots of bark but no bite...

...The music is often quite endearing, but Tull's drabness is starting to frustrate me. Heavy Horses, with its log-fire, boy scout overtures, only compounds the felony.
